Privacy
Whatcom Pinball is a community calendar and stats site for pinball in Whatcom County, Washington. It keeps as little about you as it can, never sells it, and shows no ads.
If you sign in
- With Google: we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We use them only to sign you in and so the site owner can help if something goes wrong. Your email is never shown on the site.
- With email: we store your email address and send it a 6-digit code each time you sign in. We never email you anything else unless you ask.
- With a passkey: your phone or computer creates a key pair and keeps the private half. We store only the public half. Face ID, fingerprints and screen locks never leave your device.
- Your account holds the player you pick, your auto-follow setting, and which of your phones get alerts.
- Signing in sets one cookie that keeps you signed in on that browser. It isn't used for tracking or advertising.
Alerts
When you turn on notifications or follow a tournament, your browser gives us a push address so we can send alerts to that device. We keep the address until you turn alerts off or it stops working.
Player cards
Player cards are built from public Match Play tournament results. You can make your own card private from the card itself. If you turn on Match Play's stats opt-out, your stats are hidden here too.
Submitting or reporting an event
We ask for your name and email so we can follow up. They are only seen by the site owner and are never published.
Who can see it
Only the site owner. The site runs on Cloudflare, which stores the data on our behalf. We don't sell or share your information with anyone else.
Removing your data
Open the menu, tap My account, then Delete account. That removes your sign-in, saved player and linked phones right away. For anything else, email hello@whatcompinball.com.
